Our third day in kindergarten highlights included meeting Mr. Manjourides, reading the story Whole Body Listening Larry, reading Chrysanthemum and exploring our class names, playing with Play Doh and having our first guidance lesson with Mrs. O'Neill!
We read and enjoyed Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes and explored in the names in our class.
Each student counted the letters in their name and fancied their name for our class bulletin board!
Displayed in our classroom for all to enjoy!

If you can send in a small yoga mat for your child to keep in their locker this year that would be great!
Sketching on Friday during quiet time was introduced.
Sketch Books have been ordered, just are not in yet.
Handwriting: Introducing lines and curves and creating and meeting "Mat Man."
Ask your child who Mat Man is!
One of our classmates earned a link. The link goes to Mr. Manjourides office after we celebrate as a class. The link is torn. A small piece goes home.
Hopefully your child can remember to share with you how they earned it!
