Our fifth day of kindergarten included getting ready for our first class birthday! We read The Secret Birthday Message by Eric Carle and worked on pages for a birthday book. We read Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten and tried a tear art activity with the first letter in each of our names. We practiced measuring during our math block.

Lunch from home. Thank you for sending everything your child needs to eat their lunch when it comes from home (a napkin, spoon, a fork, straw etc.). At school children are encouraged to work towards independence. Try yourself, if not ask a friend, if not ask an adult. The children are doing well with this!
