Fourth Week in March


Math: Making 10.






Writing Workshop: New Unit (Informational) How To Books


Planning our books!





Sharing his planning sheet.

Each of the children will bring home a sheet like this that they began completing with me on their in person day.  Please keep this sheet in their remote learning writing space.  
They will reference it for this units books as well as possibly add to it.
We have a copy of it at school.  Thanks!

Each child has selected one piece to fancy and publish and share!
The rest of their narrative work has been sent home.
These are hung in our classroom for the children to enjoy! ✏️

Revising narrative pieces in Writer's Workshop.


Math: Learning to write addition symbols.



Math: Learning another strategy to solve addition (a number line as a tool).


Math: Working together to solve.


Handwriting: Capital C & O.



Reading: Guided Reading.  Reading about Castles.


Reading work: We are working hard to understand short vowels.
We'll be doing more of this kind of work.


Choice Time: Excited to build castles!




We had a visitor(s).  They left us riddles to read and solve.


Clue number 2.
We needed to work as a team.



The clues even took us out of the classroom.



The children were left a treat, enough for each of them!
