Second Week in January

 


Morning Meeting: A song we have been singing.
The children are practicing writing 2023!


I will try to help my mom and dad more often.

Writing: On Monday we finished up the resolutions and hung them in the hallway.


We also finished the gingerbread writing.











My gingerbread girl is fancy.



My ninja bread man is sneaky.




My gingerbread man is a skateboarder. 


The children enjoyed this story.  Many have had it read to the before.


Reading: Letter and sound work.

Math: Number formation work.
Kindergarten Goal: Be able to recall and write the numbers 0-30.

The children are being encouraged to think about incorporating the mechanics they are learning (spacing and punctuation).

Next week is a four-day week. 
No School on Monday.
It is assessment time.

Progress reports will be available to you in early February.
