The children are working hard to understand short vowels in words and also use them inter writing!

Please remember:
1. The materials in the reading journal bag are intended to be practiced for 2 or 3 days. 
Rereads are very important fro fluency.
2. Anything signed out in the journal I hope you will return, this includes paper books signed out.  
The children keep them in their reading buckets for additional reading practice.

The children have been working to earn new choices on the choice board.  A few favorites this week were:

The children had a good week!  I hope they have a good weekend, and have a chance to rest up!

Next week: Library is Monday, Wednesday & Friday.  Books will be exchanged on Friday.
Wednesday is an Early Release Day.  Please remember we have snack and lunch at school.
Please let me know if you child has a change in dismissal.
