First Week in March



Social Studies: We read and discussed President's Day and learned more about 
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.



BrainPop Jr. is enjoyed by the children.

We are working hard to use partner reading time well and build stamina. 
This can be practiced at home (stuffy, any family member).

A new book I ordered for our classroom library.
A book about friendship.
My first time reading and the children gave it two thumbs up!


Heads up: I encouraged the children to go to the Thomas Memorial Library 
to register for their own library card if they haven't already. đŸ˜‰

We are preparing for our Allied Arts switch from art to library later this month!

Kindergarten Math Goal: I can name 3D shapes.

We had a great week in kindergarten.  Many children are tried. They are working hard.
 Next week is a four day week.  Friday is a Professional Development Day for staff.
