Second Week in January: January 8th-12th (2 Hour Delay on Wednesday)

Writer's Workshop
Finishing up Show and Tell Stories.


A favorite place.
A place she knows well.


The children are working on being able to read their own writing.
They are being encouraged to use spaces between their words.
They are being encouraged to use lowercase letters except when a capital is needed.
They are being encouraged to use punctuation.


The children are being encouraged to include how they feel about their person, place, or thing.

We cleaned out their writing folders and shared their best piece.
All other writing was sent home.

The children did a nice job completing this independently Friday 
while the teacher administered assessments.
