We have been enjoying Pete the Cat stories. We also learned this very short repetitive spin off. We concentrated on keeping one-to-one match and looking for the color words. Each child has made their own small book. Each child now also has their own blue book bin to keep "just right" books. Everyone started out with this book in their bin. Eventually your child's bin will be filled with books that at the right level for them.
Thursday was our tenth day of kindergarten. We reviewed the numbers 0-10 (recognition and proper formation) and celebrated by making a numbers board! The children were asked to select stickers that are pleasing to them, count & match it up to the number needed on their board. These number boards should have come home Thursday for you to see!

Kindergarten Math Goals:
I can recognize 0-30.
I can count and match to 20.

Good practice for the little muscles.
Careful counting and matching.
Proud of the finished product
and all smiles
because they love stickers!
Mr. Manjourides stops in to our
classroom to visit.
"Can I show you my number board?"
