Whether you are ready for the colder temperatures or not, they have arrived! Please know we go outside daily (weather permitting). The Pond Cove playground is quite chilly. Please take a few minutes to dig out your child's winter clothing. 

*When boots become necessary (rain or snow), please pack an extra pair of dry shoes. Shoes with soles are preferred (not slippers). We need to be ready for drills and unexpected evacuations and in the past slippers have not kept children's feet warm and dry. When needed please send your child to school in boots, to keep the shoes dry. Our routine will be to take the wet boots off at the lockers and store them there. Much of our instruction takes place on the classroom rug and this will help us keep our classroom rug dry and clean. Something to consider: if you have an extra pair of sneakers that can stay at school your child will have less to carry and it becomes one less thing to pack. Your child will always be ready for gym on Monday!  :)
