First Week in February: February 3-7th (Snow Day #1 on Thursday & Children's Museum on Friday)


Morning Meeting: Activity

Using a large chart version, we learned to read/sing this song at the Morning Meeting.
The children enjoyed it very much.  
They loved covering up a letter and clapping instead of saying the letters!
Ask your child to sing this to you!

Kindergarten Goal: Subtraction to 10 (fingers, pictures, objects).

After lunch we were able to have a meeting to properly celebrate our class birthday.  
We sang songs, completed the message and updated our calendar.

Friday's Read Aloud
The children have been invited to celebrate friendships by exchanging valentines 
on Friday, February 14th.
If your child decides to make and give valentines, please be sure that they bring one for all the children in the class.  A class list was sent home the last two weeks.  Please email if you need another.  If your child's valentines are ready to go it is helpful if they come into school early.  We will make pockets this week.
