Celebrating another birthday!
Happy 6th Birthday! 🎈

Our changing age graph now reads 9 five year olds and 9 six year olds!

Calendar
We have had 80 days of kindergarten.
We count daily.
Kindergarten Goals:
Count by ones to 100.
Count on for any number by ones to 100.
Ask your child to count by ones to 100.
It would be beneficial to practice when time allows if this is till tricky for your child.

Recess

The children are being encouraged to wear their snow pants outside as it has been VERY cold.
This is what recess play often looks like.  These children are playing animals.

The birthday boy is enjoying a book in Library and Listening.

Phonemic Awareness practice happens daily.  It includes rhyming, isolation of initial sound, blending phonemes, isolation of medial sound, segmentation, adding phonemes, deleting phonemes,  substituting initial phonemes, alphabet knowledge, and language awareness.
