K Goal: I can identify and describe the problem and solution in a story.

We take turns acting out the story.

Vocabulary: (fairy tale) a magical story that has been told for generations.

Writing

Writing and drawing her page for a birthday book.

It is fun to see how far the children's writing has come.

They are working on using a capital at the beginning of a sentence, 

lowercase letters when appropriate, spacing, and punctuation at the end.

The children use the alphabet chart to help write the letters for the sounds they hear.
