Week One After Kindergarten Screening!

Week One After Kindergarten Screening!

Wow, our first day(s) in. the classroom were very busy! We practiced some of our routines (lockers, hand washing, greeting others from 6ft, lining up, snack & lunch expectations, playground safety, mailboxes, Home/School folder and more).  We learned about our daily schedule and had our first world language lesson with Señora Chase!  We read The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn and completed projects based on the book.  We enjoyed The King of Kindergarten by Derrick Barnes and made first day of kindergarten crowns!  Several were tired, we worked hard!

Using small muscles to color while we unpack everyone's supplies!

Four in person days, so four hands to express feelings.

We will keep them in our lockers.

Welcome to Pond Cove Kindergarten!

 Welcome!

I am excited to be teaching kindergarten again this year and look forward to getting to know all the children and their families! I encourage families to visit our classroom blog often! It will be the spot where I will update you on our learning. You will be able to see the children working and playing. I hope you can take a few moments regularly throughout the school year to share the posts with your child. Please see the 2020-2021 Classroom Supply List. The supply list is also available to you through a link which you will find on the left hand side. Have fun getting your supplies ready for school!
