Home Reading
Please know that reading books from school to adults at home is optional.
If reading at home is not a good fit for your family just drop me a note. It is no problem.
There is no specific day the reading journal bag and its contents need to be returned. There are 17 children in the classroom. Having a few bags come back each day is the easiest way for me to manage so many children's individual needs. Try however to return the reading journal bag and its contents about once a week to prevent any of the materials from getting lost. What should come back to school will be listed in the journal. Please send the journal bag with its contents in your child's Home/School folder, so I do not have to look through backpacks.
Two or three days of practice is recommended (revisiting more than one day).
