Proud Writers

We are celebrating being writers!

Our first writing celebration was Friday. 

Each child chose the story they were 

most proud of to fancy up and share!

All the stories are hung in the classroom! 

Our first Writer's Workshop unit was all about writing what we know, or writing about our own areas of expertise. Students worked hard to think, draw, and write all they know about their own topics. We are writing letters for the sounds we hear, and labeling our pictures.
